Advance-purchase tickets are suggested, but not required. Same-day, walk-up tickets may be purchased at the Visitor Center.

The National Building Museum educates, entertains, and engages people about the built environment and challenges them to advocate for a sustainable and equitable future.

FOR KIDS: The Great Hall, Museum Shop, and Gun Violence Memorial Project are free but the other exhibits and kid area cost $10 per adult and $7 for ages 3-17. Check out the The Play Work Build Kids area.
